Google Nexus One is awesome Android phone with the best specs and good features but we can't say that Google Nexus One the first Android phone from Google has success in smart phones market.In the first month after released into market only 80,ooo Nexus One has been sold and that number very far from iPhone and Motorala Droid.Why that ? may the new sale model that Google Nexus One only sold on Google site and not much more promotion unfamiliar to Android customers.However,today on Google site,Product Marketing Manager for Android and Nexus One job listing has appeared.This job position responsibility is "comprehensive marketing strategy for Direct-to-Consumer." The Product Marketing team partners with Engineering, Product Management, and the Sales organization to inform customers and the Sales team about new Google products and features. We conduct extensive market research to better understand and meet our users' needs. Working within our portfolio of consumer products (such as Search, Gmail, Maps, or Earth), we devise plans to make our users happier and increase the usefulness of our products. We use quantitative analysis and other research methods to improve the effectiveness of online marketing and better understand user behavior.

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the team that drives and executes on a comprehensive marketing strategy for Direct-to-Consumer.
  • Coordinate appropriately across product areas and teams, to ensure that campaigns reach our audience through all appropriate touch points.
  • Work closely with global counterpoints in Android marketing to ensure global cohesion, communication, and scalability for local strategy, campaigns, and launches.
  • Be a true product and industry expert for Android.
