Nexus One Screen Issue : How many pixels is it ?

Nexus-One-screen-resolution

Nexus One Screen Resolution Issue

After multi-touch problem on Google Nexus One,today Nexus One got a problem again but in different point. If we read in Google Nexus One specs we can see this first Google Android phone has 800 x 480 pixels screen resolution and that is one of main point for many Android fans to purchase this phone. But Luke Hutchinson from Ars Technica published article about Nexus One screen resolution and point is Luke is claiming that Nexus One screen resolution is actually 653 x 392 pixels. Why's that ? Does Nexus One screen resolution really is 800 x 480 pixels ? I would not assume anything but i can tell you that you have to read this article.

From Luke article :
Even though no single pixel contains all three color elements, is it legit to say this display has 480×800 pixels as claimed by HTC and Google?

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Mar 17, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nexus One, the first wireless phone sold through Google(TM)'s web store, is planned for Sprint's 3G Mobile Broadband Network. Sprint (NYSE:S) will announce pricing and an exact availability date soon. "While a pricing plan has not yet been determined for Nexus One, we are confident that it will be consistent with Sprint's commitment to deliver more value than our competitors and keep pricing simple," Adib said. "Right now, our Sprint Everything Data 450 plan with Any Mobile, Anytime(SM) gives customers unlimited calling with any mobile phone in America, unlimited text and unlimited Web for just $69.99 per month - the same price AT&T and Verizon charge for just unlimited talk. What Going On With Nexus One Multi-touch ? (Multi-Touch Problem)

Nexus-One-Multitouch-Screen-Problem

Nexus One Multi-Touch Problem

In Video that is a Multi-touch test between Nexus One and Motorola Droid by using application from Android Market called "Multitouch Visible Test".And the result after testing is Motorola Droid has a fine multitouch and can working well but Nexus One has a problem when axis-switching.

Here is Diane Hackborn's quote about Multi-touch on Nexus One

“Sorry I meant exactly what I said: this is how the touch screen hardware on the Nexus One works (which is essentially the same screen as on the G1 and myTouch). The Droid has a sensor from a different manufacturer, with different behavior. Other phones will likewise have different sensors.”
So,that means this problem can't be solved by OTA Update ??? and How we can fix it ??? For now,all that we can is download Multitouch Visible Test App and prey for your Nexus One ,Good luck
